1. Article Review-Read the following article. After reading, write a quick review of the article on a blank piece of paper. Your review should answer the following questions:
-Did you like the article? Explain your answer
-Was the article informative? Explain your answer
Also, create two E.O.G style questions about the article.
2. Weekly Vocabulary-Take this time to review your Weekly Vocabulary Words. Play some games and learn at the same time! This time can also be used to work on your Weekly Vocabulary Assignment.
3. Google Docs-We are going to take some time to create a few different google docs for our class. Listen carefully and follow my lead.
4. Pronoun Worksheet-We covered pronouns last week. You are now going to complete a worksheet testing your comprehension of pronouns.
5. Reading Notebook-You are going to use one of the notebooks you got for my class as a Reading Notebook.
6. Reading Time-It's time to relax, kick back, and enjoy our new books.
7. Social Studies Warm-Up-On a sheet of paper, answer the following question.
What are 3 things that you remember from our discussion of Africa? Why did these things stick out to you?
8. Africa-We are going to take a few minutes and review what we have learned about Africa
9. Antarctica-Today we will begin looking at the continent of Antarctica.
