1. Warm-Up-In your Norman Language Arts google doc, answer the following question. Make sure to date your post, fully explain your answer, and use complete sentences.

2. Central Idea-Today we are going to use our new textbooks, and look at how to figure out a writing passage's Central Idea.



3. Weekly Vocabulary-Here are this week's Vocabulary Words. Go ahead and get to know them!

4. Weekly Vocabulary Assignment-This week we are doing a 5x5x5. Here are the instructions: 

*Directions: Write each word and its definition five times. When finished, create a paragraph with at least five sentences that uses all five words correctly. Make sure to underline the vocabulary words in your created paragraph.

5. Reading Time-Grab your books and read!

6. Reading Journal-Answer the following question in your Reading Journal Google doc.

How are you liking your book so far? What are some things that you have liked about it? What are some things you have not liked? Answer in complete sentences.

7. Social Studies Warm-Up-Answer the following question in your Norman Social Studies google doc:

If you could ask one person from the Renaissance a question, who would it be and what would you ask them? Why would you ask this question?

8.  Michelangelo - Michelangelo is one of the Renaissance's most famous artists.  Take a few minutes and scan through his biography.

When finished, write on a blank piece of paper ten true or false questions from the information from the article.  You should include an answer key.  Also, for the false questions, please write in the answer key what information is needed to make the statement true.
