1. Warm-Up Creative Writing-Look at the following picture. Write a quick short story in your Language Arts Google doc about the picture. Be creative.
2. Halloween Vocabulary-Here are your special Halloween Vocabulary Words! Take about 10 minutes to really get to know them.
3. Weekly Vocabulary 3-2-1-For this week's words, you will be creating a 3-2-1. Here are the instructions again:
Write each word and definition 2 times
Write 1 sentence using each of your vocab words (meaning you will be writing 10 sentences)
4. Class Novel-Today we will start on Chapter 2 of The Outsiders. As you are reading, you are to create 3 Summary Sketches in your reading notebooks.
5. Prefixes and Suffixes-Today we will be beginning a lesson on prefixes and suffixes.
6. NC Write-We are going to use NC Write to create a spooky Halloween story!

8. Columbian Exchange-We will begin discussing the Columbian Exchange and the impact it had on the entire world. Look at this chart which details some of the items involved in the Exchange. When you have finished looking at the chart, review the following picture detailing the Exchange. Does anything surprise you?
