1. Game Time-Let's get the day started with some games. We have a new game I want everyone to try. It is called Popword. Directions are below:
If the word you have selected is a valid English word, the letters will 'pop' away and the letters above them will fall to take their place. You score points for each word you pop. Longer words score many more points than shorter words.
2. Weekly Vocabulary Words-Take about 5 minutes to study your words. You can take the quiz or play Scatter or Space Race.
3. Crossword-Take about 10 minutes to work on those puzzles.
4. NC Write-It's time for our 3rd revision. Review what NC Write has to say about your writing before you start.
5. Book Cover-Work on those covers!
6. Independent Reading-Grab those books and get reading!
7. Social Studies Warm-Up-Answer the following question in your Norman Social Studies Google doc.
Your presentation should be at least 9 slides (including a title page.) You should also include pictures.

8. The Explorers-Get out your Social Studies notebooks. It is time to take some notes.
9. Food Project-In groups of 2, you will be creating a Google presentation on a certain food. I will be selecting each group's food. You will thoroughly research your food and use the information you find to answer the following questions:
-Name of Food
-Other names for the food
-Country of origin (where did it come from)
-Number consumed each year
-Various uses for food
-Different varieties of food
-One awesome recipe using your food!Your presentation should be at least 9 slides (including a title page.) You should also include pictures.
