1. Article Review-Read the following article (watch the video too). After reading, write a quick review of the article in your Norman Language Arts Google doc. Your review should answer the following questions:

-Did you like the article? Explain your answer.

-Was the article informative? Explain your answer.

Also, create two E.O.G style questions about the article.

2. Weekly Vocab-We are going to switch it up a bit this week. Using the 7 vocabulary words that you picked, you will create a Vocabulary Quiz. Your quiz must include the following:

7 questions and answers

At least 4 multiple choice questions

At least one fill in the blank question.

Your quiz must be challenging but not impossible. 

3. Social Studies Warm-Up-Answer the following question in your Norman Social Studies Google doc.

Do you think the whole world is better off because of the Age of Exploration or worse? Explain your answers.

4.NC Write-Today we are going to start working on our first NC Write writing prompt. Can you score a 30 on your first try?


5. Discovery of North America - Who really found North America first? Were people already living here?  If  so, where did they come from? Be sure to take GOOD NOTES! We will be discussing the articles.
