1. Free Rice-Free Rice Friday time......Our score to beat is 1200.

2. Analyze the Quote-Read the following quotes. In your Language Arts Google doc, analyze each quote. What do you think the speaker meant? Why do you think this? Remember to write in complete sentences and to fully explain your answers.

3. Weekly Vocabulary-Take this time to finish your "S" video Short Story.

4. Theme-We are going to go over the theme group work you guys did yesterday.

5. The Outsiders-Our quiz is coming in a few minutes. Take this time to read and review for your quiz.

6.  Glogster - Today we will practice using Glogster. I think you should create your own account and make sure you add  your user name and password to your password sheet. You have options for signing up:

You may have made an account in 6th grade. Try to use that one. If you forgot your password or user name, try to sign in and click "forgot." They'll send your information to your email.
Sign up for a free student account. My educator code is 7BUCA4
Sign in with your Google Account. It's in the top right corner.
After getting signed in, please start a new glog. We'll have a little contest. Your job is to create a glog on Pamlico Middle School. Your interactive poster should be creative and highlight all of the good things at Pamlico Middle.


For today, do not use any videos on your glog. No YouTube searching is needed today.

When finished, you will put the URL to your glog in my class dropbox (I will show/model this for you). Make sure that your glog is public and can be viewed by others.

7. JFK-Today is the 50th anniversary of the death of President John F. Kennedy. Go to the following websites and read about JFK. The websites are herehere, and here. Using the information on these sites, answer the following questions on a sheet of paper. (Remember to answer in complete sentences.)

8. JFK Timeline-The website Esri Media has an awesome interactive timeline on the life of John F. Kennedy. Use this time to browse the timeline, watch the videos, and learn all you can about Kennedy.
