1. Warm-Up-Creative Writing- Look at the following picture. In your Norman-Language Arts Google doc, write a quick short story about the picture. Be creative and try to include some of your weekly vocabulary words.

2. Weekly Vocabulary-Use this time to work on your "S" Videos and your short story. You have all week to work on this, so your stories should be awesome!

3. Theme-Go back to yesterday's blog post and finish working on Number 5.

4. Theme Practice-Now we are going to practice what we have learned about finding a story's theme.

5. The Outsiders-Take this time to read and/or review our class novel. REMEMBER our quiz is on Friday!

6. Prefix/Suffix-I hope you held on to both Prefix/Suffix worksheets I gave you!

7. Slavery Warm-Up-In your Norman Social Studies Google doc, respond to the following writing prompt:

If slavery is wrong, why has it existed for so many years?

8. Slavery-If you have finished both your SAS Curriculum Middle Passage assignment and your Middle Passage reading passage and Create-a-Quiz, then you need to complete the following assignment:

African Slave Trade - Go to the following links and read more about the Slave Trade. As you are reading, you need to create a fact sheet containing 15 facts you learned from the 3 sites. You must have at least 2 facts from each site.
