4/15 Monday



1. Warm-Up- Answer the following question.

We are getting closer and closer to the end of the school year. What are you looking forward to the most over Summer Break? What are your plans? Are you going on a family vacation? Give me lots of good details.

2. Weekly Vocabulary-Lets get to know our new Vocabulary Words.

3. Most Dangerous Game-We did not get a chance to read our class book on Friday, so let's really get deep into it today!

4. Most Dangerous Game Activity-You are going to write 3 journal entries, one each from the viewpoint of the following characters.
1. Rainsford
2. General Zaroff
3. Ivan
These journal entire should summarize what has happened before and give each characters' opinion on the events that have occurred so far.
Each journal entry should be at least 7 sentences long.

5. Independent Reading-Grab your books and lets get reading!

6. Book Journal-Answer the following question in your book journal.

What is the one thing about your book that you really do not like? Why do you not like it? How would you change it?

7. Social Studies Warm-Up-Answer the following question:

“What might the impact of the Industrial Revolution be on the entire world?”
8. Imperialism-Today we are going to look at the Industrial Revolution's impact on the world.
9. Imperialism-Watch the following video. While watching the video you will be answering some questions about imperialism.
10. Create-a-Timeline-We are getting closer and closer to covering World War 1. Today you are going to start researching the causes and events that led to the great war. You are going to pick 12 World War 1 causes and events and place them on a timeline you will be creating using TimeToast. We will discuss as a class how to sign up and following is a tutorial video.
