4/6 Monday

1. Journal-Take some time to update those journals. They say this week should be especially rough week as far as Coronavirus goes. Hopefully, things will start improving soon.

2. LOGOS-It's time to start Lesson 17. Attached is the answer key for your words and prefixes. Use it to help you complete Activity 1 in your LOGOs book. It should take no longer than two days.

3. Scope-You guys are to read a new Scope article titled, Courage in the Time of Terror.

4. Poetry Breakdown-Every few days I will give you guys a poem. I want you to break the poem down, stanza by stanza, and explain what it is actually saying. Also, does the poem use any figurative language? Does it use simile? Does it use metaphors? Personification? Email your breakdowns to me Jeremynorman@pamlicoschools.org. Here is your new poem.

1. CNN 10-Head here to catch up on the news. When finished, jump on your SS Google Doc and comment like always. 

2 Social Studies Warm-Up-Answer the following question in your Social Studies Google doc. Be sure to fully explain your answer.

What do you think the Scientific Revolution may have been about? Don't cheat and use Google!!!!

3. Today in History-Go to the following website and look over some of the things that happened on this date in history. Pick 3 things which you think are important and send me an email (Titled: Today in History) explaining why you chose the 3 events that you did. Remember to fully explain your answers.
