1. Warm-Up Creative Writing-Look at the following picture. Write a quick short story about the picture. Be creative and try to include some of your weekly vocabulary words.

2. Weekly Vocabulary-Here are your weekly vocabulary words. They are all tone/mood words that a writer might use to set the feel of a story.

3. Weekly Vocabulary 3-2-1-Use all of your words to complete your 3-2-1 assignment. Here are the instructions:
Write each word 3 times
Write each definition 2 times
Write 1 sentence using each of your vocab words (make sure you underline the vocabulary word)

4. Scope Magazine-We are going to do an activity based on the article from Scope Magazine. 

5. NC Write- Continue working on your prompt titled "Schools: Year Round or Not?" Your essay should be at least 125 words.

6. Social Studies Warm-Up-Answer the following question in your Norman Social Studies Google doc.

Why do you think that exploring the world became such a big deal in the 15th and 16th centuries? What do you think that they were looking for?

7. Age of Exploration-So far we have covered the periods of history known as the Reformation and the Renaissance. Now we are moving on to my favorite period of time! We will spend the next few weeks covering The Age of Exploration.
