1. Warm-Up-Creative Writing: Look at the following picture. In your Language Arts Google doc., write a quick short story about the picture. Be creative and try to include some of your weekly vocabulary words. Remember, you are writing a story based on the picture NOT describing the picture!

2. Weekly Vocabulary-Here are this week's Weekly Vocabulary. Take a minute to review your words.

3. Weekly Vocabulary Assignment-Keep working on your 7x7x7. . Here are the instructions:

*Directions: Write each word and its definition seven times. When finished, create a paragraph with at least seven sentences that uses all seven words correctly. Make sure to underline the vocabulary words in your created paragraph.

4. Active Notes/Close Reading-We will have a review of what is expected from your Active Notes.

5. Reading Passage-Let's practice our Active Note skills!

6. NC Write-New week, new prompt! Head over to NC Write and complete the prompt titled "Favorite Room". Your essay should be at least 100 words and the final draft will be due on Friday.

7.Social Studies Warm-Up-In your Norman Social Studies Google doc, answer the following
question:

"Why was the Renaissance such a big deal? What time period came before?"

8. Food of the Renaissance-Today we are going to examine the foods of the Renaissance. Your assignment is to go to the following links, read them, and create a Google doc entitled "Renaissance Food." Be sure to share it with me. In that doc I want you to first tell me what you thought about the foods of the Renaissance. Be sure to fully explain your answers. Then I want you to give me 15 facts that you learned from these websites.
