6. Black History Month-February is Black History Month. To celebrate, we will look at prominent African Americans and examine their impact on history.
Today we will look at George Washington Carver. Go to each of the links here and here and use the information to answer the following questions in a new Google doc titled "Black History Month". Answer each question using complete sentences.
1. Who was this person?
2. When and where did they live?
3. Why were they so important?
4. What are some interesting facts about this person?
7. History Research-This week you are going to be flexing those research muscles and writing a research paper. You are going to pick one thing that you absolutely love, and then you are going to research that thing. You will need to find out who created your item, when and where it was created and any other important information you can think of. You will then need to take that information and write a 300 word research essay on Google docs.
