1. Warm-Up-Creative Writing- Look at the following picture. Write a quick short story about the picture. Be creative! The mood for your story should be exciting.

2. Weekly Vocabulary- Here are your new words. Take a few minutes to review and then head on to number 3.

3. Vocabulary Word Boxes- This week you will be using all 8 of your vocab. words to create 8 Vocab Boxes. In case you forgot, here are the directions:

4. Inference Coach Lesson-We are going to go over your inference package.

5. Class Novel-Now we are going to work on our class novel.

6. Poetry Assignment-Use this time to work on your poems. 

7. Black History Month-February is Black History Month. To celebrate, we will look at prominent African Americans and examine their impact on history.


Today we will look at Muhammad Ali . Go to each of the links here and here and use the information to answer the following questions in a new Google doc titled "Black History Month". Answer each question using complete sentences.

2. When and where did they live?

3. Why were they so important?

4. What are 4 interesting facts about this person?

5. Was this person married and did they have any children?

8. Channel One-We are going to watch Channel One news. Afterwards, you are to got to your Social Studies google doc and answer the following questions about the newscast. Remember to use complete sentences, and fully explain your answers.

1. What were the stories on today's newscast?

2. Which story did you find most interesting?

3. What was interesting about this story?
