LANGUAGE ARTS
1. Weekly Vocabulary-You are going to take your weekly vocabulary words and create a 10 question quiz. Your quiz should have at least 2 true//false, 2 multiple choice and 2 fill-in-the-blank. The remaining 2 questions are your choice. Your set is here
2. Article Review-Read the following article. After reading, write a quick review of the article in your Language Arts Google doc. Your review should answer the following questions:
-What was the topic of the article?
-What was the article's main idea? Supporting details?
-What was one thing about the article that you found fascinating? Explain your answer
-Create one E.O.G style question about the article.
3. Acrostic Poem-Earlier in the week we went over Acrostic poems (here is the link to my slides.) Today you are going to create 2 Acrostic poems. One using your own name and another using the name of someone else important to you (could be mom, dad, best friend, or a certain bearded teacher.) Make sure you follow the rules. When you have finished, turn your poems in to the substitute.

5. Age of Enlightenment-Go to the following Enlightenment websites. Read the information contained on the sites. When you have finished, create a fact sheet (on paper) containing 25 facts you have learned form the sites. Be sure you write in complete sentences and pull facts from all 4 sites.
