3/2 Monday

1. Warm-Up-In your Norman Language Arts Google doc, answer the following question. Make sure to date your post, fully explain your answer, and use complete sentences.

LANGUAGE ARTS

1. Weekly Vocabulary-You are going to take your weekly vocabulary words and create a 10 question quiz. Your quiz should have at least 2 true//false, 2 multiple choice and 2 fill-in-the-blank. The remaining 2 questions are your choice. Your set is here

2. Article Review-Read the following article. After reading, write a quick review of the article in your Language Arts Google doc. Your review should answer the following questions:

3. Acrostic Poem-Earlier in the week we went over Acrostic poems (here is the link to my slides.) Today you are going to create 2 Acrostic poems. One using your own name and another using the name of someone else important to you (could be mom, dad, best friend, or a certain bearded teacher.) Make sure you follow the rules. When you have finished, turn your poems in to the substitute.

3. Class Novel-Today we are going to read a piece of informational text that ties in with our novel.

4. Poetry-You will read a short poem and answer 5 questions. We will discuss when everyone has finished.

5. Coach Lesson 3-Keep working on our newest lesson.

6. NC Write-Your new prompt is titled "The Importance of Music." Your essay should be at least 176 words.
