1. Short Story Questions-You need to answer some text dependent questions about your short story. Remember to circle where your found your answers.

2. Pretest-Use this time to finish your pretest.

3. Vocabulary Activity-You have two activities to complete using your words for this week.

4. Short Story-You are to read a 2nd short story dealing with embarrassment.  We will then discuss how it differed from our first story.

1. Warm-Up-In your Language Arts notebook, answer the following question. Make sure to date your post, fully explain your answer, and use complete sentences

2. Short Story Second Read-We are going to take a second look at our story. I will share what confused me while reading.

2. Learning Farm-Work on either this or Edmentum.

3. Outsiders Sequel-One of my favorite things to do when I finish a book is to try and imagine what might happen to the characters after the end of the book. You guys are going to help me do this with The Outsiders. In your Outsiders Google doc, I want you to create a sequel for the Outsiders. Tell me what happens next to our favorite characters. Your sequel must be at least 200 words and fit the tone of the original

1. Channel One-We are going to watch Channel One news. Afterwards, you are to got to your Social Studies google doc and answer the following questions about the newscast. Remember to use complete sentences, and fully explain your answers.

1. What were the stories on today's newscast

2. Explain how each story might impact your life.

2. Today in History-Go to the following website and look over some of the things that happened on this date in history. Pick 3 things which you think are important and send me an email (Titled: Today in History) explaining why you chose the 3 events that you did. Remember to fully explain your answers. 3. Holocaust-Today we are looking at one of the worst periods in history.

4. Study Island-You need to begin working on Lesson 6

5. GeoGuesser-If you have finished everything head to this site and work on your geography skills!
