1. Creative Write- Look at the following picture. Write a quick short story about the picture. Be creative! The mood for your story should be exciting. Your story should be written in 1st person point of view.
2. Poetry Breakdown-Even though you are at home, you can't escape the awesomeness of poetry! Every few days I will give you guys a poem. I want you to break the poem down, stanza by stanza, and explain what it is actually saying. Also, does the poem use any figurative language? Does it use simile? Does it use metaphors? Go to the following website and look at the Industrial Revolution invention timeline. Once you have looked at some of the inventions, send me an email (subject should be "IR-Inventions") and pick the TEN Industrial Revolution inventions you think are the most important. Be sure to explain why you think so and write in complete sentences!
