3. Article of the Week-It is time to see how you did.

4. Short Story-Our newest short story is called Names/Nombres. If you have not finished reading it, do so now.

6. Unit 1-We are almost finished with our first unit.

7. Quiz-Hot dog! It's quiz time!!!

8. Weekly Assignment- You will be placed in groups and given the name of a continent. You will then use your netbooks to find the information needed to answer the following questions. You will then put your information into a Google Slide presentation. Your presentation should be at least 10 slides should definitely include images and pictures.

2. How many countries are in your continent?
3. What is the most populous country in your continent?
4. What is the least populous country in your continent?
5. What is the weather like in your continent?
6. What are some of the different languages spoken in your continent?
7. What are some of the landmarks found in your continent?
8. What are some of your continent's natural resources?
9. How big is your continent compared to the other continents?
10.What are some of the rivers, mountains, deserts, and other geographical features found in your continent?

1. Google Docs.-Now that we finally have computers, we are going to create a google doc for our ELA class. I will walk through this process.

2. Warm-Up-In your Norman Language Arts Google doc, answer the following question. Make sure to date your post, fully explain your answer, and use complete sentences.

3. Article of the Week Questions-Use this time to finish your questions.

4. Weekly Vocabulary- If you are finished with number 3, use this time to study your words. Here
are your vocabulary words for the week.

5. Short Story-Start reading your new short story!

1. Short Story Questions-You need to answer some text dependent questions about your short story. Remember to circle where your found your answers.

2. Pretest-Use this time to finish your pretest.

3. Vocabulary Activity-You have two activities to complete using your words for this week.

4. Short Story-You are to read a 2nd short story dealing with embarrassment.  We will then discuss how it differed from our first story.

2. Short Story Second Read-We are going to take a second look at our story. I will share what confused me while reading.

3. Short Story Questions-You need to answer some text dependent questions about your short story. Remember to circle where your found your answers.

4. Vocabulary PreTest-This is exactly what it sounds like it is!

5. CNN Student News-Take good notes and be prepared to discuss 

 6.  Junior Scholastic-Everybody gets a magazine. Read the mummy article on page 2-3. Create 3 multiple choice questions based on the article.
