2. Common Assessment-We are going to take this time to work on a reading passage that should assess just how ready we are for the EOGs. Remember the talk with Mrs. Dunbar and let's knock this one out of the park!

3. Weekly Vocabulary-Take this time to work on your 7x7x7s.

4. NC Write-Head over to NC Write and work on the prompt titled "Choose a Special Power." Your essay should be at least 150 words.

5. Social Studies Warm-Up-Answer the following question in your Norman Social Studies Google doc. Be sure to fully explain your answer.

3/11 Tuesday

1. Warm-Up-Creative Writing- Look at the following picture. Write a quick short story about the picture. Be creative and try to include some of your weekly vocabulary words. The mood for your story should be sad. 


2. Weekly Vocabulary-Take this time to work on those 7x7x7s. Remember, these are your directions:

*Directions: Write each word and its definition seven times. When finished, create a paragraph with at least seven sentences that uses all seven words correctly. Make sure to underline the vocabulary words in your created paragraph.


3. Point-of-View-We have spent the last few classes discussing point of view. Let's see how well you were paying attention.

4. NC Write-Head over to NC Write and work on the prompt titled "Choose a Special Power." Your essay should be at least 150 words.

5. Most Dangerous Game-Soon we will be beginning our new story. First, let's take a few minutes to get acquainted with our story.

6. French Revolution- We will continue looking at the French Revolution

7. French Revolution Newspaper-Take this time to work on your newspapers. They must include:

1. Title of Newspaper

2. Date and price

3. Title of Article

4. Story (at least 10 sentences)-Story must be about the French Revolution

1. Warm-Up-In your Norman Language Arts Google doc, answer the following question. Make sure to date your post, fully explain your answer, and use complete sentences.


2. Weekly Vocabulary-This week we will be starting our new short story. All of our weekly vocabulary words will come from the story. 

3. 7x7x7-This week, we will be using our words to create a 7x7x7. This works just like 5x5x5 except you use two more words. There are 8 words, but you only have to do 7. Here are the directions:

1. Would You Rather-In your Norman Language Arts Google Doc, answer the following would you rathers. Be sure to fully explain your answers.

Would you rather be stranded on an island alone or with someone you dislike?

Would you rather have lunch for two hours with your friends everyday or get an hour for silent nap time everyday?

2. Article Review-Read the following article.  After reading, write a quick review of the article in your Norman Language Arts Google doc. Your review should answer the following questions:

-Was the article informative? Explain your answer.

Also, create two E.O.G style questions about the article.
