1. Warm-Up Creative Writing-Look at the following picture. Write a quick short story in your Language Arts Google doc about the picture. Be creative.
2. Halloween Vocabulary-Here are your special Halloween Vocabulary Words! Take about 10 minutes to really get to know them.
3. Weekly Vocabulary 3-2-1-For this week's words, you will be creating a 3-2-1. Here are the instructions again:
Write each word 3 times
Write each word and definition 2 times
Write 1 sentence using each of your vocab words (meaning you will be writing 10 sentences)
4. Catch-Up Day-Today we will be using our time to catch-up on our work before the end of the first nine weeks
You Should:
-Check your google docs to make sure nothing is missing
-Make sure you have worked on all three Learning Farm tasks
-Make sure you are not missing any NC Write prompts
-Check Powerschool Gradebook and make sure you are not missing anything

5. Context Clues-We are going to start something new this week. Be able to use context clues to figure out a word's definition is an extremely important when reading. See if you can figure out the definitions of the bolded words.

least 250 words and must begin with one of these 2 sentences: "It was around midnight when the aliens arrived..."or "Every time she looked behind her, the man was still following her....."
7. Channel One-We are going to watch Channel One news. Afterwards, you are to got to your Social Studies google doc and answer the following questions about the newscast. Remember to use complete sentences, and fully explain your answers.
1. What were the stories on today's newscast?
2. Which story did you find most interesting?
3. What was interesting about this story?
8. Social Studies Warm-Up-Answer the following question in your Social Studies Google doc.
Have you ever heard the word reformation before? If you have, what do you remember about the definition? If you have never heard the word, take a guess about what you think it means.
9. Reformation-Go to the following website. Read the information and make sure you take GOOD notes. When you have finished, we'll discuss.
