1. Article Review-Read the following article . After reading, write a quick review of the article in your Language Arts Google doc. . Your review should answer the following questions:

-Did you like the article? Explain your answer

-Was the article informative? Explain your answer

-What was one thing about the article that you found fascinating? Explain your answer

 2. Weekly Vocabulary Words-Here are your new words. Take a few minutes to get familiar with them.

3. Weekly Vocabulary 3-2-1-Use all of your words to complete your 3-2-1 assignment. Here are the instructions:
Write each word 3 times
Write each definition 2 times
Write 1 sentence using each of your vocab words (make sure you underline the vocabulary word)

4. SQUASH-Here is the Google Doc I created with our SQUASH rules. The problem is, it looks crazy boring. Here is your chance to show your creative side. Copy and paste the rules into a new Google Doc titled LAST NAME-SQUASH. Then, make it your own. You can change anything EXCEPT the rules themselves!. Once you have finished, make sure to share with me. The top three best looking will win some cane bucks.

7. Channel One-We are going to watch Channel One news. Afterwards, you are to got to your Social Studies google doc and answer the following questions about the newscast. Remember to use complete sentences, and fully explain your answers.

1. What were the stories on today's newscast?

2. Which story did you find most interesting?

3. What was interesting about this story?

8. Renaissance-Today we will continue our Renaissance unit.

9. Renaissance Art- Head to this link and let's read about how the great artists created sculptures and paintings. As your scan through, write down on a blank piece of paper, ten important facts from your reading. You must not have more than two facts from any paragraph.

When finished with the article, read the questions below and answer on the same sheet as you have your facts on. Use your facts and details from the article to completely answer the questions. Answers must be in complete sentences.
