1. ELA Google Doc-Head to your Google Doc and wait for further instructions.

2. Article of the Week-Grab an article, grab a highlighter, and do your first read. Remember to mark your confusion. Make sure you mark any words that you do not know the definition of.

3. Short Story-It's time for our new story.

4. Halloween Horror!!!-You guys are going to start writing some awesome horror stories! You need to pick from one of the following story starters to begin your story. Your story should be at least 253 words. Write this in your ELA Google docs.

Starter 1-I thought this was going to be another boring Halloween. When the zombies appeared, I knew I was wrong...

Starter 2-I had lived my entire life in the same small town. It was a quiet town. Then people started disappearing...

Starter 3-The first alien spaceship appeared last week. By today, the sky was full of them. We still had no idea what they wanted...

6. Reformation Reporter-A reporter's main job is to get answers to questions. You are going to spend the next few days researching the Reformation. You will then answer, on a blank sheet of paper, the following questions:

WHAT-What was the Reformation? Be sure to fully explain your answers.

WHO-Pick 4 important people from the Reformation. Tell me who they were and why they were important to the Reformation.

WHEN-Pick and explain at least 3 important dates from the Reformation. Explain why the dates you chose are important to the Reformation.

HOW-Explain in detail how the Reformation started. What happened before that led to this movement?

WHY-Why did this movement happen? Why was it so important to the world? Why is it still important?

WHERE-What were some of the important locations of the Reformation?
