1. Joy Journal-This is something new we are going to try to do at least once a month. In your ELA Google doc, I want you to list 10 things that you are either thankful for or that make you happy. Make sure you fully explain your answers.

2. Weekly Vocab-Take this time to finish your Word Boxes and/or study your words.

3. Vocab Quiz-Mr. Norman is a man of his word, and just like he promised...it's quiz time!

4. Setting-Holy smokes will we ever talk about setting??????

5. Channel One-We are going to watch Channel One news. Afterwards, you are to got to your Social Studies google doc and answer the following questions about the newscast. Remember to use complete sentences, and fully explain your answers.

1. What were the stories on today's newscast?

2. Which story did you find most interesting?

3. What was interesting about this story?

6. Food Project-In groups of 2 or 3, you will be creating a Google presentation on a certain food. I will be selecting each group's food. You will thoroughly research your food and use the information you find to answer the following questions:

-Name of Food
-Other names for the food
-Country of origin (where did it come from)
-Number consumed each year
-Various uses for food
-Different varieties of food
-One awesome recipe using your food!

Your presentation should be at least 9 slides (including a title page.) You should also include pictures.
