1. Warm-Up-Creative Writing- Look at the following picture. Write a quick short story about the picture. Be creative and try to include some of your weekly vocabulary words. Your tone should be exciting!

2. Vocabulary Word Boxes- This week you will be using all 8 of your vocab. words to create 8 Vocab Boxes. In case you forgot, here are the directions:

3. Red Literature Book-Grab your book, and turn back to page 19. We are going to go over our questions.

4. NC Write-Use this time to finish your Thanksgiving themed NC Write prompt.

5. FreeRead-I am ready to get back to my book, so let's read!

6. Channel One-We are going to watch Channel One news. Afterwards, you are to got to your Social Studies google doc and answer the following questions about the newscast. Remember to use complete sentences, and fully explain your answers.

1. What were the stories on today's newscast?

2. Which story did you find most interesting?

3. What was interesting about this story?

7. Food Project-In groups of 2 or 3, you will be creating a Google presentation on a certain food. I will be selecting each group's food. You will thoroughly research your food and use the information you find to answer the following questions:

-Name of Food
-Other names for the food
-Country of origin (where did it come from)
-Number consumed each year
-Various uses for food
-Different varieties of food
-One awesome recipe using your food!

Your presentation should be at least 9 slides (including a title page.) You should also include pictures.
