1. Warm-Up-Creative Writing- Look at the following picture. Write a quick short story about the picture. Be creative! Your story needs to be AT LEAST 5 sentences long.

5. Channel One-We are going to watch Channel One news. Afterwards, you are to got to your Social Studies google doc and answer the following questions about the newscast. Remember to use complete sentences, and fully explain your answers.

1. What were the stories on today's newscast?

2. Explain how each story might impact your life.

6. Social Studies Warm-up-Answer the following questions in your SS google doc:

What is the furthest you have traveled? What did you do there? Did you eat anything unusual? What did you bring home as a souvenir? Did you ever bring home seashells from the beach? What about unusual plants, or seeds, or foods? Have you ever given a visiting grandparent a cold? Is it typical for people to exchange ideas, foods, and illnesses when they travel?
