1. Article Review-Read the following article . After reading, write a quick review of the article in your Language Arts Google doc. Your review should answer the following questions:

-What was the topic of the article?

-What was the article's main idea? Supporting details?

-What was one thing about the article that you found fascinating? Explain your answer.

-If you were to rename this article, what name would you choose and why?

2. Weekly Vocabulary-Use this time to work on those boxes.

3. Channel One-We are going to watch Channel One news. Afterwards, you are to got to your Social Studies google doc and answer the following questions about the newscast. Remember to use complete sentences, and fully explain your answers.

1. What were the stories on today's newscast?

2. Which story did you find most interesting?

3. What was interesting about this story?

4. Industrial Revolution Inventions-Let's finish up those Industrial Revolution Invention emails. Here again are the directions:

Go to the following website and look at the Industrial Revolution invention timeline. Once you have looked at some of the inventions, send me an email (subject should be "IR-Inventions") and pick the five Industrial Revolution inventions you think are the most important. Be sure to explain why you think so and write in complete sentences!

5. Immigration Game-This game is supposed to recreate the experience of an immigrant coming to America. Let's see how well it works!
