1. Warm-Up-Creative Writing- Look at the following picture. Write a quick short story about the picture. Be creative! The mood for your story should be scary!

2. Reading Passage Review-Let's go over our newest reading passages.

3. Website Tryouts-Since the Friends of Rachel have taken half of my class, we are going to use today to explore some websites and see what we think. This website we have used before, but I think they have added some new games. Here is a site that contains a crazy number of word games. This website has tons of old-school Nintendo games. Finally, here is an awesome site which will test your geography skills.

4. Channel One-We are going to watch Channel One news. Afterwards, you are to go to your Social Studies google doc and answer the following questions about the newscast. Remember to use complete sentences, and fully explain your answers.

5. Website Tryout--Why should ELA have all the fun? Let's tryout some new websites. This site has a few different games to play around on. This website has a ton of games. Give them a shot and let me know what is the best. Here is our final site. It is geography focused.
