6.   Weekly Assignment- You will be placed in groups and given the name of a continent. You will then use your netbooks to find the information needed to answer the following questions. You will then put your information into a Google Slide presentation. Your presentation should be at least 10 slides must include images and pictures.

CONTINENT QUESTIONS:

2. How many countries are in your continent?
3. What is the most populous country in your continent?
4. What is the least populous country in your continent?
5. What is the weather like in your continent?
6. What are some of the different languages spoken in your continent?
7. What are some of the landmarks found in your continent?

9. How big is your continent compared to the other continents?
10.What are some of the rivers, mountains, deserts, and other geographical features found in your continent?

1. EOG Prep-Preparing for our end of grade test is about more than just standards and reading. Head to this Quizlet link. These are words and phrases you are almost guaranteed to see on the test.

2. The Run-Even though we are still working on non-fiction, it's still nice to occasionally bust out some fiction!

3. Study Island/Learning Farm-Work on your newly added lessons.

4. Social Studies Google Doc.-You are to create a new Google doc. for class. You need to title it your First Name Last Name Social Studies (for example mine would be Jeremy Norman Social Studies). Make sure once you have created it, you also share it. Sharing is caring!

5. Social Studies Warm-Up-Chose and write about a current event which you find interesting. Describe the event and provide details as to why you think it is important. Your current event could be politics, world events, sports, or whatever.
